Whether we’ve been reviewed on Google or on Facebook, they’ve all been 5-star reviews. How incredible is that?! We’re so thrilled and we wanted to take this opportunity as the year comes to a close to thank each and every single person who has hired our campervan because without you, we wouldn’t be looking ahead towards another exciting year.

Calico Campers began in May 2021 when we made the decision to rent out our 4-berth Citroen relay long-wheel base. Since then, we’ve welcomed camper after camper to the #CalicoCommunity and we have had the privilege to help families, couples and friends to enjoy time together after such a difficult year.
Needless to say that with the travel restrictions imposed following the Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for our campervan hire service was sky-high. We didn’t enjoy getting requests for our campervan hire service and having to tell people we were already fully booked. Which is why we endeavored to make sure that every single person we could accommodate this year had the best time possible.
We have had campers join our community from places in Manchester like Urmston, Trafford, Chorlton, Ancoats and Stretford. We’ve had people hire our campervan from Chorley in Lancashire and from Doncaster in Yorkshire. Needless to say we’ve had a lot of support from our local Cheshire community. Word that we’re a campervan hire service in Chester, Cheshire thankfully spread quite quickly and we’ve met so many fantastic people in our local community.
Fantastic customer service with a personal touch. The campervan ‘DANI’ is beautiful. Easy and lovely to drive, economical and spacious but not too big either. A bit of a Tardis! All in fantastic condition and very easy to use. I found the handover very thorough too in terms of showing me how everything works. I’ll definitely be back.
Our happy campers have been a mixed bunch of wonderful people, from families with one or two children, to couples with young babies, to couples spending time away together. We love hearing how much fun was had by the children whilst in our campervan ‘DANI’. They seem to especially love the bunk-beds and the games cupboard! One young camper, Katie, even made her own travel vlog, which was so good we added it to our YouTube channel.
Of course, being a pet friendly campervan hire service, we can’t forget to mention the gorgeous dogs that have become part of the #CalicoCommunity too.

You might be pleased to know that we are hopefully going to be expanding the Calico Campers campervan hire service in 2022…we can’t say too much on this just yet, but watch this space!
